Lee Min Ho and Bae Suzy were once one of the power couples in the Korean entertainment industry. They dated for almost two years that many people thought that they would go on forever.
However, the pair called it quits in 2017 while the actor was serving in the army. The reason for the breakup is not clear, but their respective agencies released official statements saying Min Ho and Suzy broke up because they have grown apart as a result of their busy schedules.
The real reason for the split based on the rumors
But then again, many are skeptical if the agencies stated the real reason for Lee Min Ho and Bae Suzy’s separation. They are in doubt because rumors spread that the two decided to end their relationship when the former Miss A member turned down the actor’s proposal to marry him.
People around the actor shared that Min Ho is really serious about marrying Suzy. In fact, this is the first time that they have seen him pursue someone with great determination.
“Lee Min Ho’s persistence is well known among industry people,” the source said as translated by Koreaboo. “Staff members who have worked with Lee Min Ho says these actions were unexpected from him. It isn’t that the actor’s personality is bad, but he knows that he is a top actor and acts that way.”
Then again, the marriage proposal angle as the cause of their split was never confirmed, but those close to them think there is truth to these reports.
The reconciliation rumors and chances of a reunion
Lee Min Ho and Bae Suzy were once reported to have reconciled, and this supposedly happened just a few months following their breakup. Allkpop reported that the two were spotted on a date, and they have been meeting each other in secret. While some fans rejoiced, it is not true that they rekindled their romance because, at that time, the actress/singer started dating Goblin’s Lee Dong Wook.
Finally, as for the chances that Lee Min Ho and Bae Suzy are getting back together after years of being apart, there is a very slim chance for it to happen. This is due to the fact that they moved on a long time ago and up to now, they are both busy with their work and other activities which are their first priorities at the moment.
