Lee Min Ho has been confirmed to return to the entertainment industry via a new drama titled “The King: The Eternal Monarch.” This will be the actor’s very first project after being discharged from the army in April, so fans are quite excited.
Now, while still serving as a social worker as part of his military service in South Korea, fans were calling for him to star with Park Shin Hye in “Heirs 2.” However, he announced a different drama for his comeback. Although this is the case, is there a chance that he will still do a drama with the actress after “The King: The Eternal Monarch?”
Min Ho’s next project after the mentioned drama is unknown, but it will not be something like “Heirs” with Park Shin Hye. However, there is a big chance that they will reunite for a drama or a movie. This is because the call for their reunion is strong and the producers may know it by now.
Probably, if Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye will get to do another drama together, it will present a more mature story since they are older now. The likes of the “Heirs” is definitely not suitable for them now, but mature roles will be perfect.
At any rate, Shin Hye is not starring in any drama right now so if Min Ho is not busy after “The King: The Eternal Monarch,” chances are, they could be offered a project. In the meantime, Bae Suzy’s ex is focusing on his comeback drama where “Goblin” actress Kim Go Eun has been revealed to be his leading lady.
Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun are expected to begin filming this June or July, and the drama is set to be released in 2020. It will be produced by Hwa&Dam Pictures and directed by Baek SangHoon. Lastly, the story has been written by popular “Descendants of the Sun” writer Kim Eun Sook.
