The dating rumors: How it started
Many were shocked by Min Ho and Taylor’s dating rumors as they simply can’t believe that this could happen. It is impossible they said, and how could they be dating? When did it start?
The pair’s dating rumor did not start after an interaction between the two, but it all began when a publication wrote an article about some possible partners for Taylor Swift. At that time, she just broke up with Tom Hiddleston, so the dating game for her was opened again.
In the list of her potential boyfriends, Lee Min Ho’s name was brought up, and it seems the various media outlets picked this up and started pairing the Korean actor to Swift. According to Channel News Asia via The Inquisitr, when Swift and Hiddleston broke up, Min Ho was singled out from the list of potential boyfriends, and this narrative gradually changed to stories that suggest “The Heirs” actor and “You Need to Calm Down” songstress is dating.
As the rumors spread, it was even mentioned that Taylor Swift was the cause of Lee Min Ho and Bae Suzy’s breakup. The actor’s fan also reacted negatively, and they asked people to stop pairing the two because Min Ho is just too good for Swift.
Actor’s agency responds
The Lee Min Ho and Taylor Swift dating rumors were subsequently debunked by the former’s agency. A rep from MYM Entertainment, his managing company at that time, vehemently denied that its artist and the songstress are a couple. “It’s ridiculous and we are taken aback,” Soompi quoted the agency rep as saying.
It was added that they just laughed at there reports because they are honestly absurd. They further shared that the two involve artists have not even met in person yet, so these are ridiculous rumors that really confused them.
Lee Min Ho was also filming “Legend of the Blue Sea” when the news came out, so it was not refuted at once. The agency stated that they will talk with the actor first before giving statements and this what they initially said, “Lee Min Ho is currently overseas and focusing on acting, so it’s difficult to nosily ask him about Taylor Swift. Perhaps he got involved in this dating rumor because he's filming in Spain is receiving a lot of attention from the international press.”
