Mike (Tim Allen) and Ryan's (Jordan Masterson) complicated relationship has been one of the show's bedrocks ever since “Last Man Standing” began. While Mike has learned to respect his son-in-law for his convictions and the fact that he is actually a decent father, “Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 7 looks to pit the two over Boyd (Jet Jurgensmeyer) once again.
According to the “Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 7 synopsis, Mike gets into a conflict with Ryan when he asks Boyd out on a fishing trip. Apparently, Ryan already made plans with Boyd, which reignites the father and son-in-law's usual rivalry. To get his father and grandfather to stop fighting each other, Boyd tells both men that it would be better if everyone went on the fishing trip together.
Fans can expect the elder Baxters to get into a fight as soon as the three of them hit the road in “Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 7. Mike and Ryan will most likely go head to head in an effort to win Boyd's favor during the fishing trip, which will end with hilarious results.
Of course, no family trip would be complete without some sort of realization that draws the participants even closer. Fans can definitely expect “Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 7 to deliver a family-friendly message about being together.
While the Baxter men are away on a trip, Mandy (Molly McCook) and Kyle (Christopher Sanders) will go on their own adventure in “Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 7. Despite having grown up during the show's seven-season run, it looks like Mandy and Kyle will have their own fun playing make-believe as detectives. Fans will have to see for themselves whether Mandy and Kyle's little gumshoe adventure will be more eventful than the Baxter trio's outdoor excursion.
Fans looking forward to seeing how exactly Boyd plans to get Mike and Ryan on the same side of each other can catch “Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 7 when it airs on Nov. 16. Fans can only hope that neither of the Baxter dads ends up ruining their fishing trip.
