Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson got to know each other after they were cast as the lead stars for the “Twilight” movie series that were based on Stephenie Meyer’s novels. It was these films that brought them to stardom, and they went from reel to real lovers.

Their relationship gained so much interest as fans really want them to end up together. They did not last forever, for they famously broke up in 2012 due to cheating, and it is not Pattinson who had an affair.

Now, although they became real-life lovers as fans want them to be, few people know that Robert Pattinson was already dating someone else before he and Kristen Stewart started dating. The interesting part is that the woman is also a cast member of the “Twilight” series, and she was said to be former BFF of K-Stew as well.

It was reported that in the early filming days, Nikki Reed and Stewart were very close that they even share stories about their relationships, but it hurt her when she and R-Patz broke up, and she often has to see him and K-Stew together - on and off the camera.

“Nikki was really in love with Rob, but we’re all scared to bring it up now. It’s something we just don’t talk about,” a source told Fox News. “Everyone is relieved she’s with Paris Hilton’s former fiancé because he is an amazing boyfriend to her. In her interview with a magazine, Reed also explained that they were all close friends when they started filming “Twilight,” but everything changed when fame caught up with the lead stars. She hinted that this is another reason why her friendship with Stewart was cut short.

“In the beginning, it was innocent and fun, and we were like one big happy family, but success came along and changed the dynamic,” she told Cosmopolitan. “We're not all best friends, and we're not all going to hang out together after the final movie is done.”

Although there were rumors that Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed fought over Robert Pattinson, E! News reported that this is not true at all because Reed already refuted the rumors. She said she was never bitter over K-Stew and R-Patz’s relationship because she and the actor never dated in the first place, so there is definitely no jealousy that supposedly ruined her friendship with Stewart.
