Kim, Kanye West threaten to sue former bodyguard for blabbing

The Kimye couple that is Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are threatening to file charges against Steve Stanulis, who used to work as a bodyguard for the star couple.

The Wests’ lawyer sent a cease-and-desist letter to Stanulis for appearing on the podcast, Hollywood Raw, last May and talked about his experiences while working for the couple.

Stanulis had recounted the rules that were seemingly ridiculous that he had to follow while working for the Kimye.

Among those ridiculous rules were that he had to be always 10 steps behind Kanye while walking the streets and alleged that the rapper did not show him any respect. He said Kanye was very stubborn and that there was no talking to him.

While Stanulis described Kanye as the hardest working man he had ever known, he also said the rapper was the neediest celebrity, the moodiest and the worst restaurant tipper.

The West couple said that Stanulis’ claims were not true and had defamed them. And that talking about his time with them is a violation of the confidentiality agreement that he signed in February of 2016 while working for them.

MSN Entertainment reported that it was not the first time that Kim and Kanye have threatened to sue Stanulis. They also did back in May of 2016 and even demanded a public apology then.

The Kimye couple is not the first celebrity that Stanulis has served as a bodyguard. He had also worked for Leonardo di Caprio and Tobey Maguire, who has been described as the nicest and kindest, respectively.

The publicist of Stanulis, however, insisted that his client had committed no violation as he was only recalling things that were already out there, he didn't reveal anything new.

He added that the cease-and-desist letter was unwarranted and bullied his client.

Stanulis, the publicist further added, primarily went on the podcast to discuss and promote his movie.

From being a retired police officer, Stanulis had dabbled in being a bodyguard, to a dancer, and to an actor-director at present.
