Katy Perry gushed over her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, and she called him the “anchor” in her life. This confession came after the “Roar” singer shared how strong her relationship with him has gotten.
In her recent interview with Footwear News magazine, the 33-year-old singer told the paper, “He’s a great anchor in my life. For some reason, I attract people who are really real and call me out on stuff when I’m being cuckoo.”
Aside from talking about her boyfriend, Katy Perry also shared that she did not make a follow-up album after releasing “Witness” in 2017 because she wants to focus on her mental health first. Doing another album is stressful so Katy feels that rushing to release another one is not a good idea.
“I've been trying to find the balance and not overindulging, just trying to stay grounded,” she told FN. “I'm not going to go straight into making another record. I feel like I've done a lot. I feel like I've rung the bell of being a pop star very loudly, and I'm very grateful for that.”
At any rate, Katy Perry is obviously in love with the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor and there were recent reports that they are getting married soon. It was said that Orlando Bloom is already planning to propose and he may act on his plan very soon.
“Orlando doesn't have a ring yet but has been talking about the future,” an insider told People. “Everyone would be excited if they got engaged. Katy is wonderful! He always said he would absolutely get married again, and it seems Katy could be it.”
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were first linked in early 2016 and their dating status was confirmed in May of that year when they posed for a photo together at the Cannes Film Festival. However, in March 2017, the couple broke up after a year of dating and this was confirmed by their respective representatives, Cosmopolitan reported.
In February 2018, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom reconciled and since then they have often been seen on a holiday together. Katy was previously married to Russell Brand while Orlando was married to Miranda Kerr.
