Katie Holmes allegedly wants Tom Cruise out of Suri’s life since he has been absent from her life for a long time anyway. And to give her daughter a “father figure” in her life, it was said that the former “Dawson’s Creek” star is looking at her rumored boyfriend Jamie Foxx to fulfill the duty.
Suri Cruise is already 13 years old and she has been estranged from her father Tom Cruise for almost seven years. Since it has been a long time since her daughter had been in a company of her dad, Katie Holmes is said to be searching for someone to replace the “Mission Impossible” actor and as she has been relying on Jamie Foxx for advice on how to raise her now teen daughter, she wants her boyfriend to be Tom’s replacement.
“Katie needs Jamie in her life more than ever,” a source supposedly told UK’s Grazia magazine.
Jamie Foxx and Suri Cruise never had a photograph together and it was rare that she was seen with the actor so there are questions about how close she is to him. There were reports that Tom Cruise’s daughter does not really like Katie Holmes’ boyfriend and this is why she rarely joins them when out on a trip or even when simply dining out but other reports stated that the two are actually close contrary to what others believe. But even so, is it true that Katie wants her BF to replace Tom in Suri’s life?
Gossip Cop immediately refuted this story after checking with someone who has personal knowledge of the actual situation. The source firmly stated that the rumor is false and Katie never asked Jamie Foxx to be a father figure to Suri.
Finally, the publication added that the allegations are suspicious because the tipster who provided the story seems to be non-existent. Also, it was pointed out that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are living their own separate lives and have their own homes so Suri cannot possibly have the “Django Unchained” actor as her father figure as well because they rarely see each other too.
