Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have tied the knot in secret and the marriage ceremony took place in Paris. This was the claim made by a tabloid this week but is this true?
Since last year, there were reports that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were planning to get married in Paris but these proved to be false as people around them already debunked the rumors. Despite this, it is still possible that the news is true after all, which means they might have really gotten married secretly in one of the most romantic cities in the world.
Perhaps, they were able to get away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi and the public just like Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, but unlike them, there are no photos or videos to prove that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx indeed exchanged “I Do’s.”
Nevertheless, OK magazine reported that the nuptials was held at The Ritz Hotel and it was attended by just a few relatives and close friends.
“Katie and Jamie kept this very small and private and made sure no one was photographed,” the dubious source told OK. “However, they did drop around $230,000 in champagne and treated their guests to fireworks over the Eiffel Tower.”
Of course, Katie Holmes daughter Suri Cruise as well as Jamie Foxx’s two daughters, Corinne and Annalise, were said to be in attendance and they played major roles in the wedding. On the other hand, the rest of the guests were not mentioned in the article.
Then again, Gossip Cop confidently called this Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx secret wedding as bogus. This is because the dates do not even match up.
The alleged wedding report included a claim that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx's yacht vacation in Miami is actually their honeymoon, suggesting that the wedding took place in December after Tom Cruise’s ex’s birthday celebration. Gossip Cop pointed out that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were not anywhere near Paris at the suggested time-frame when the marriage supposedly happened so there is no way that the story is true.
