Katie Holmes wants her boyfriend’s Jamie Foxx’s birthday to be extra special so instead of dining out or going somewhere to celebrate, she went to the grocery store to buy some ingredients for home-cooked meals. Tom Cruise’s ex was also said to have bought a bunch of balloons and gifts - apparently, these are necessary to make the celebration more like a birthday event.
According to In Touch Weekly, Jamie Foxx celebrated his birthday on Dec. 13 and Katie Holmes decided to do something special for her boyfriend. Although it was a simple celebration, the former “Dawson Creek’s” star’s gesture of making time to prepare for the “Django Unchained” star’s birthday, was more than enough to make the actor feel loved.
The Daily Mail also published photos of Katie Holmes as she shops in Whole Foods. She was shown carrying a few grocery bags and no doubt to prepare a meal and have a romantic evening.
Both Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are shooting their respective movies in New Orleans so they are currently staying there together. It was previously reported that the couple actually bought a home in the said state and already living in, in a simple 4-bedroom house.
Incidentally, Katie Holmes is going to turn 40 on Dec. 18 and it is Jamie Foxx’s turn to do something special for her. Then again, since they are both busy with filming their movies, it is likely that the occasion will also be celebrated intimately in their home. Perhaps, the couple also has plans of celebrating their birthdays later once they go on break for the holidays?
Meanwhile, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were recently rumored to be planning to adopt a daughter. It was claimed that the couple wants to adopt a girl after seeing her in the poverty-stricken part of New Orleans. However, this report turned out to be false.
