Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been adamant in keeping details about their dating life private. But knowing the tabloid industry, the more celebrities would want to keep things away from the public eye, the more stories are going to pop up.
In the case of Holmes and Foxx, they have been rumored to be dating as early as 2013 or about a year later since the actress got officially divorced from Tom Cruise. But they both denied all reports until a photo of them came out in 2017. They can be seen walking along a Malibu beach while holding each other’s hand was the proof fans need to confirm they are an item.
However, the publishing of the photo did not lead to Holmes and Foxx directly addressing reports about their dating status. But it was followed by relatively more instances of going out together in public.
Just as the Hollywood stars started going out together and visiting each other’s filming sets more often, the wild rumors also began pouring out online. These Holmes and Foxx rumors vary from breakups, engagement, moving in together, marriage, and even welcoming twins. But it is important to note that none of these ever panned out.
Radar Online’s story that Holmes broke up with Foxx because of her unresolved trust issue was one of the rare times when the fans hear directly from their camp. Holmes’ spokesperson Leslie Sloane told PEOPLE, “The Radar story is 100 percent untrue.”
Recently, engagement rumors were sparked by a photo of Holmes wearing a diamond ring. But it turns out the accessory was just a movie prop for her upcoming film “The Secret.” “Katie’s not engaged to anyone besides her fictional movie fiancé, played by Jerry O’Connell,” a rep for Foxx’s ladylove said (via Page Six).
Another wild rumor claimed that Holmes and Foxx are already expecting baby twins. But like the numerous tabloid reports, fans can also count this to be untrue, according to Gossip Cop.
