Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes’s relationship appears to be getting stronger. But are they at the point of wanting to move in together? Some recent tabloid rumors suggest they are.
Not only are they rumored to be moving in together, but unconfirmed reports further claim that they have already chosen a location for their supposed love nest. However, these stories have inconsistent details. There are versions that say Foxx and Holmes are looking to buy a property in New York City while others say they have chosen Atlanta.
Most recently, Woman’s Day Australia reported that Holmes and Foxx are considering to purchase a penthouse unit worth $56 million in New York (via Gossip Cop). The tabloid quoted an insider saying, “It’s tucked away in a quiet corner of Manhattan, and Katie fell in love with it the moment she saw it.”
The same report also reportedly claimed that Holmes and Foxx particularly loved this high-priced property because of its security system, view of the NYC skyline, and private elevator. On the other hand, a few weeks ago, Radar Online published its own story that insists the couple is moving together in Atlanta.
Radar Online’s version of the rumor said Foxx and Holmes checked out several properties in Atlanta. It has its own source, who said, “Katie and Jamie both love Atlanta and think it’s a good place to raise their daughters and be out of the L.A. spotlight.”
However, fact-checking outlet Gossip Cop doubts that the couple is really planning to move in together. To be fair, there is no actual indication that Foxx and Holmes are really wanting to live together.
They both seem to be flying out to be together — Foxx to New York and Holmes to California. But these travels are merely visits and neither has brought moving-in boxes with them.
Rumors about Holmes and Foxx dating can be traced back to 2013. However, they either were mum or vehemently denied being more than friends at the time. Though they still do not talk about their relationship publicly, they have been spotted going out together more frequently in recent months.
