Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx may be dating today but up to now, they have not publicly admitted about their romance. Despite being secretive, people know that they are a couple because they cannot avoid being spotted together at least once or twice since 2013.
Since it is very rare for Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx go out for dates, how did the two become a couple? To answer that, here is a brief timeline of their relationship.
It was in 2012 when Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise filed for divorce and while the latter said that he was very surprised with his then wife’s decision, he accepted it without much ado. After more than a year of being single, Suri Cruise’s mom was first spotted with Jamie Foxx at the Hamptons where they were said to be having a good time while dancing.
Rumors that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx officially started after that event but in October 2013, the latter denied that he is dating Tom Cruise’s ex-wife. While there was no admission and just denial from the two actors, they were once again spotted together in early 2015 and this time, they were even holding hands and this scenario was captured by paparazzi.
Before 2015 ended, Katie Holmes attended Jamie’s 48th birthday party and this further fueled the speculations that they are dating. In 2016, one of the actor’s friends, Claudia Jordan unconsciously mentioned in an interview that the “Django Unchained” star is happy with Katie.
Further, when Katie celebrated her birthday in December 2016, she went to Mexico with Jamie to celebrate. Then in September 2017, they were photographed holding hands again. Probably, the thing that most confirmed that they are in a relationship was when they sit together at the Pre-Grammy’s party in January of this year.
However, it was also early this year that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were rumored to have broken up already and that they have supposedly called off their wedding. But this breakup rumor proved to be false as they are in fact happier together these days. Although they have not directly admitted their relationship, their body language and attitude towards one another say it all.
