The first 12 episodes of the “Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War” anime adaptation were filled with comedic scenes and romantic ones as the main character Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane play an epic love tug of war. However, at some point, fans likely want to see these two finally admit their feelings for each other. But would it be happening in “Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War” season 2?
‘Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War’ season 2 predictions: Ultimate ‘confessions’ will be worth the wait
Fans who have been following the manga series, already know the answer to whether or not they would ever confess. Meanwhile, anime fans are advised to be patient and enjoy the development of the characters and their romance. But whether or not the confession happens in “Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War” season 2 will depend on how many episodes it will have.
The first installment had 12 episodes that covered about 50 chapters. Although the anime adaptation skipped several manga chapters, the story is practically unchanged. With that said, “Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War” season 2 might need to have at least 24 episodes to reach the point in the manga where both Kaguya and Miyuki practically admits to being in love with each other.
Any manga readers who have seen this multi-chapter confession storyline would agree that waiting for it to be adapted into anime is totally worth it. As usual, there is intense planning involved on the part of Miyuki. It happens during the Culture Festival, and many heart-shaped balloons will fall from the sky. Not to spoil too much of this scene, but a kiss is involved in the end. However, if “Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War” season 2 would only have 12 episodes again, fans might have to wait for a third season to see this.
‘Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War’ season 2: Is it renewed or canceled?
The first season was produced by A-1 Pictures. Unfortunately, it has been five months since season 1 concluded, but the studio has not announced anything yet about “Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War” season 2.
On the bright side, there are more than enough manga chapters to make “Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War” season 2 and even a season 3. Fans also believe that the series’s Blu-ray and DVD sales have been fairly good and could convince producers to renew the anime series.
