“Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” Season 2 is set to have Shirogane and Kaguya go at it once more, this time with even more mind games than ever before. Anime fans initially assumed that the pair would finally confess their love during the fireworks festival, but that proved inaccurate.
While Shirogane and Kaguya did had a special moment during the alluring display, both were too caught up in their own heads to say what they truly feel. As such, “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” Season 2 will have them find ways to convince the other to confess their love without revealing their own attraction, Business Times reported.
However, due to the events that unfolded in the first installment, their mind games would have to take on a new form. Both Shirogane and Kaguya are aware of the other’s feelings – more so for the latter. “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” will be building on this with Kaguya now at the top of the ridiculously over-the-top yet hilarious romantic chess match.
The question now becomes: how will Kaguya take advantage of this information? Will she able to use this edge to finally push Shirogane to a confession? Or will this very information spur her to spill out what she really feels instead? “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” Season 2 has the answer for that. And the manga, of course.
Those who have read its source material know all too well that Shirogane and Kaguya are too stubborn and prideful to simply throw the dice and risk it, Polygon reported. This is despite the fact that both have an inkling that they fancy each other. But if the series does end this will-they-won’t-they dance, it does conclude the story’s core premise. Whatever the case, “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” Season 2 is expected to draw in more audiences as its predecessor did a wonderful job of setting the stage for the main and side characters alike.
As for when fans can expect the second entry to drop, nothing has been announced just yet since the first installment just recently ended. A-1 Pictures also maintains their silence about the matter, leaving fans to speculate when it will finally be released. Hopefully, “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” Season 2 will return in late 2019 or in early 2020 as fans can’t wait to see the hilarious and endearing back and forth between Shirogane and Kaguya.
