Jungkook is going home. Out of all the destinations he has traveled to for BTS concerts, the youngest member of the boy band reportedly has one specific requested place to perform in — Busan.

Busan is a famous port city in South Korea. Fans may even recognize it from the viral 2016 zombie apocalypse film “Train to Busan.” Jeon Jung-kook, or simply Jungkook, was actually born and raised in Busan that makes the BTS upcoming concert there even more special. The 21-year-old singer-songwriter spent his early days there until he transferred to Seoul to study and start his training.

Local officials of Busan announced on Thursday that Jungkook and the rest of BTS are arriving in the city for a two-day concert. They will be performing at the Busan Asiad Stadium on June 15 and 16.

“There are members who are natives of Busan, and they wished for Busan shows,” Busan officials said in a statement (via allkpop). Aside from Jungkook, Park Ji-Min or Jimin was also born in the same city. It was also reported that the venue could accommodate up to 25,000 concertgoers while the local authorities and BTS management’s Big Hit Entertainment will open a standing area to avoid damaging the grass in the stadium.

Jungkook and his group have just made headlines last week following their attendance at the Billboard Music Awards where they took home the Top Duo/Group and Top Social Artist awards. More recently, Jungkook made news again after meeting American pop superstar Ariana Grande at her Los Angeles concert.

Both artists confirmed they met backstage after Grande’s concert earlier this week. She shared a photo of them together and said in the caption, “Screaming. Thank u soooooo much for coming to my show, Jungkook. It meant so much. Love [you so much.]” BTS fans will be delighted to know that the “Thank U, Next” singer is also a big fan of the boy band.

Meanwhile, Jungkook also shared his thoughts on meeting Grande in a selfie posted on the official BTS Twitter account. “I felt and learned a lot after seeing her stage. I am really challenged by her stage and will try harder,” Jungkook wrote. Now that BTS and Grande obviously adore one another, can a music collaboration happen in the coming months? Maybe a little push from fans would help.
