In the past years, K-Pop has garnered plenty of fans all over the world, but it is safe to say that BTS is currently the most sought-after band from South Korea. So it is not surprising if fans are curious about its members’ relationship status, especially the youngest one, Jungkook.
At the moment, all signs suggest that Jungkook’s relationship status is single, and it has also been some time since he was last linked to a woman. Back in 2016, many fans were convinced that Jungkook and Lovelyz member Jeong Ye In are an item. Passionate fans have pointed out that the two K-Pop idols appeared to have a very similar taste in fashion. However, no other solid proof came up, and the rumors ultimately fizzled.
Considering the popularity of BTS and Jungkook, having dating rumors from time to time is not that strange. Other than Jeong, Jungkook was also once linked to other women including Jung Chae Yeon of DIA and Ko So Hyun from CUBE. But just like the case with Jeong, no hard evidence was presented to prove that Jungkook dated any of these women for real.
Jungkook, just like the rest of BTS, appears to be a hundred percent focused on their careers at this point. While they conquer the world with their music, it is t is very likely that they are all not into dating anyone just yet. Considering that Jungkook is just 21 years old, there is no reason for him to rush into it and fans seem to like it this way.
Jungkook and the BTS are also always being asked about their dating life, especially when attending major music events in the west. When they walked the red carpet of 2017 American Music Awards, Entertainment Tonight asked if they brought any girlfriend that evening to which RM replied, “No, we got ARMYs. We’ve got, like, thousands of girlfriends in here, so we don’t need to worry.”
