With the band’s popularity, no wonder each member also has their own group of followers and Jungkook is one of those members who have the most fans. As proof, he does not need to promote to make something trend or sell.

He is a powerful celebrity that can make anything sell out by merely holding or using a product. This is why he was dubbed as someone with the “Midas Touch.” Jungkook lives up to this nickname and in fact, after BTS’ “Dynamite” dropped last month and placed no. 1 on Billboard, he unintentionally promoted the consumption of milk as well.

An unintended promotion that turned out well for companies

Jungkook can make clothing items, bags, shoes, fabric conditioners, perfumes, wine and now even milk to get sold out and he can do this effortlessly. For instance, it was revealed that milk brands have jumped in on the success of “Dynamite” and the product just gained lots of attention.

It all started when on Sept. 3, Jungkook posted a photo of himself holding a glass of milk. The caption shows part of the “Dynamite” lyrics sang by Jungkook which reads: “Shoes on, get up in the morn' Cup of milk, let's rock and roll.”

This post was retweeted by Got Milk?, an American ad campaign that encourages the consumption of milk. The group captioned the retweet with “Does Jungkook start his day with a cup of milk or do we start our day with him?”

Apparently, this got fans drinking milk and in a short time, the sales of milk in the U.S. were said to have surged. Fans of Jungkook posted a tweet about it and shared that the idol singer helped the American economy to a bit.

“Milk got a little spike up on US Economy as according to Trading Economics yesterday after Jungkook posted,” the tweet reads. “Look at the increase of 1.62% yesterday.”

Milk promotion outside of the U.S.

It appears that not just in America but in other parts of the world are also seeing an increased consumption of milk after Jungkook posted his photo holding a glass of milk. The French

Dairy producer, Les Produits Laitiers, was so impressed by what Jungkook has done and retweeted the singer’s post as well.

In the caption, the company wrote: “So we've been pushing for 2 years and they get 2 million likes on a glass of milk? Very well.”
