Jungkook may be the youngest in BTS, but he is also the most popular, and this can’t be denied. It was already proven many times that he is indeed the most favorite member, but his popularity is just getting bigger. In fact, he made a new record again after he was honored by the Korean Tourism Organisation when it celebrated the 27th anniversary of Korea’s diplomatic relations with Vietnam.
According to Allkpop, the KTO organized a booth at the Korean embassy in Vietnam, and it featured Jungkook as they also aimed to honor him for his big contribution in helping to spread the Korean culture around the world. It was said that this is the first time that an idol had a booth on an important event such as this, so the exhibition is notable.
The BTS member also honored by Vietnamese fans
Before the Korean embassy in Vietnam honored Jungkook, the Vietnamese fans already made something really touching. When he celebrated his 22nd birthday earlier this month, the fans rented the biggest LED display in their country, and the BTS member was shown there for weeks.
The LED display covers a whole building, and Jungkook is the second person to be displayed there. The first was Vietnam’s national football team; thus, it was such a great honor for the idol singer.
Jungkook’s first mixtape
In any case, Jungkook hinted that he will soon be releasing his first mixtape. He said that he has been dying to publish one since a long time ago and now he seems to have gotten his chance to do so. This detail was revealed by the idol himself when he participated in a V Live streaming hosted by his BTS co-member, J-Hope.
Probably, the short audio clip of an English song that he dropped on his birthday is a teaser to this mixtape. Fans were in awe after listening to his song, and he asked fans to wait for the full version. He did not say if it will be part of BTS' new album or he will be releasing his own. But now that he talked about his mixtape, then it is possible that it will be included in this project.
