Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are presumably in conflict again, this time regarding the signing of their divorce papers with Garner allegedly refusing to make their separation official. Radar Online wrote in an article that the “Miracles from Heaven” actress is supposedly jealous of Affleck’s new partner Lindsay Shookus.
Shookus is pregnant, the publication claimed, although whether this is a certainty is still questionable as the couple or anyone close to the two hasn’t mentioned such a thing. This rumor is apparently the cause of Jennifer Garner’s “stalling,” which can throw a monkey wrench between the on-going relationship of Garner and Affleck co-parenting their three children.
“Jen likes the status quo,” Radar Online wrote, which the magazine said was revealed by an insider. “Now she’s hearing what people are saying — that Lindsay’s pregnant — and she’s terrified she’ll lose Ben and that he’ll marry Lindsay. There’s no denying Jen’s still fond of Ben.”
The publication said that Ben wants to accelerate the divorce process because Shookus is pregnant, with the acclaimed American television producer wanting to stay in L.A. where Affleck resides. However, all of these claims have been contested by Gossip Cop saying that the whole piece by Radar Online cannot be trusted.
Gossip Cop pointed out that while Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus are indeed staying together in L.A., the latter will not stay for good because of work. It cited an article published by People that Shookus will need to remain on the East Coast once the new season of “SNL” begins production in the fall.
With regards to Affleck wanting to speed things up the divorce process in order to marry Shookus, Gossip Cop brought up a report by Entertainment Tonight about the “Justice League” actor wanting to take things slow. The reason for this is not Jennifer Garner but because Ben Affleck has been advised to do so “for the sake of his sobriety.”
