“Jane the Virgin” season 5 will be the final run of the comedy-drama but fans still have to wait a bit for its premiere. There are lots of loose ends to tie up when after the finale of season 4 aired and the upcoming installment is expected to provide the answers.
“Jane the Virgin” season 5 was renewed in April alongside many other hit shows of CW Network. However, although filming started earlier this year, the new episodes have yet to be released. In any case, when the show returns, there are some highlights to watch out for and here they are:
Back from the Dead
Someone appeared in the finale of season 4 and it shocked everyone including the fans. Michael Cordero (Brett Dier) knocked on his wife Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) door and the lady protagonist just turned blanched. This is the right reaction though because her husband has long been dead, at least that was what they believed.
Michael turned out to be alive and “Jane the Virgin” season 5 will divulge how this happened. It can be recalled that he died in the third installment and in the show, it has been years since he was gone. Now, the other problem is that Jane is already falling really in love with her boyfriend Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni), so how could this be solved? Will Jane end up with her husband Michael or will she decide to settle with Rafael?
Petra’s Secret
J. R. shot someone but it was revealed to be not Magda or anyone that the viewers have already seen in the “Jane the Virgin” series. Who is it? It was said that Petra knows the person’s identity.
The Narrator
The “Jane the Virgin” series features a narrator, however, throughout the four seasons, his identity has been kept a secret. But finally, before the show ends, fans will see who he really is.
Finally, “Jane the Virgin” season 5’s ending has bee revealed by its showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman. She confirmed the love triangle between Jane, Rafael, and Michael then went on to disclose that the show will end with a beautiful wedding but fans have to guess who the groom is!
