‘Jane the Virgin’ season 3’s episode 4, entitled “Chapter Forty-Eight”, will follow Jane and Michael’s continuing struggles as newlyweds when they get an eviction notice that totally sours their housewarming party. Meanwhile, Rogelio seeks Rafael’s help to get his big break on American television.
The synopsis for “Chapter Forty-Eight” posted on K Site TV stated, “Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Michael’s (Brett Dier) housewarming party in their new home hits a snag when they discover they are being evicted for not paying their rent. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is still trying to break into American television, but needs some unusual help from Rafael (Justin Baldoni).
Xo (Andrea Navedo) makes a new career choice, but Alba (Ivonne Coll) and Jane aren’t convinced this is the one for her. Meanwhile, “Petra” (Yael Grobglas) shocks Rafael with what she wants to do with her shares of the hotel.”
The incoming episode will find newlyweds Jane and Michael hosting a housewarming party but things turn awry when they get an eviction notice. Since Michael’s recovery from the traumatizing shooting from last season, the couple didn’t get the chance to celebrate their marriage properly and it seems that more challenges are heading their way.
In the preceding episode, Jane and Michael finally managed to consummate their marriage after a series of interruptions from family members and her advisor. However, things didn’t go as smoothly as Jane has planned especially since they accidentally recorded the session from her computer, which was then sent to her advisor instead of a book chapter.
Jane also went through an emotional crisis since virginity was a big part of her identity, according to the episode 3 recap posted on Vulture. Her mother Xo was also able to help Jane realize that she has now entered a new phase in her life and may need to take down emotional barriers to enjoy that aspect of marriage.
Meanwhile, Rogelio will be seeking Rafael's assistance in the incoming episode as he attempts to find success on American television after his transition from telenovelas.
‘Jane the Virgin’ season 3’s episode 4, entitled “Chapter Forty-Eight”, is scheduled to premiere on The CW on November 7, 2016.
