Newly created renders by a young artist reveal what the 2024 Tesla Model Y refresh might look like, sparking interest.
Visual Artist's Renders Stir Excitement
It appears that certain renders created by a young artist for the Tesla Model Y refresh are rather accurate representations of the forthcoming updated edition of the well-liked electric SUV, Electrek reports.
The community has been anticipating a Model Y refresh since last year's announcement of the Model 3 refresh.
Last year, Reuters reported that Tesla was allegedly planning a Model Y facelift for 2024, with the codename Juniper.
Expected Release Timeline for Model Y Updates
An update to the Model Y was to be released by Tesla in "mid-2024," according to a Bloomberg article.
Rumor has it that Tesla has shut down. Both Tesla and Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, have said that the company has no plans to update the Model Y "this year." In an effort to put an end to speculation about a new Model Y, Musk and Tesla both used the word "this year" in their statements.
In light of this, many are speculating that a new version will be out early next year.

Renders of the new Model Y were created by Dominic, a young German visual artist, using this leak:
The leak's rear lightbar alters the Model Y's appearance.
The updated Model 3 served as an inspiration for the sharper front end. It has its own lightbar that matches the backend, but whether or not it will be successful is unclear.
