Last week, the filming of the highly-anticipated next season of “Bachelor In Paradise” was abruptly suspended following allegations of “sexual misconduct” on the set. Warner Bros. has since confirmed to BuzzFeed News that it had indeed halted production following the allegation, leaving “Bachelor In Paradise” Season 4, which is slated for an August 8 debut, up in the air. A source shared that all of the cast members were sent home from the set location, which is in a Mexico resort.
Several others close to the story are saying that the two cast members involved were from the reality franchise’s recent installments. Corinne Olympios from Nick Viall’s “The Bachelor” season and DeMario Jackson, who was recently booted out from Rachel Lindsay’s “The Bachelorette”, were reportedly the two cast members involved in the “misconduct.”
One source told People, “(The contestants were "drinking all day, having a good time) when Corinne approached DeMario in the swimming pool.) "Next thing you know, Corinne comes over and hops on his lap. They start talking and joking. Everyone is just going about their business. Cameras are rolling. Producers are everywhere. That's when a 'third party' [a producer] felt uncomfortable, claiming misconduct in the workplace."
A TMZ source said the pair became hot and heavy in the pool, which reportedly involved a lot of “touching” and engaging in sexual acts. While DeMario says he remembers everything that happened in the pool, Corinne claims that she was drunk and do not remember everything.
Los Angeles Times film writer Amy Kaufman also said that the show was “cancelled” and that the incident involved some very “raunchy” action that turned into “soft-core” porn. The producer who witnessed the incident did not return for production the next day and filed a third-party complaint. However, ABC has yet to comment about the show's fate.
