KENNESAW, Ga., May 28, 2017 -- Hobson Eye Associates has recently announced their new clinic expansion and remodeling. This expansion adds a new testing area as well as five new exam lanes. This will allow more patients to be seen at the same time, lowering wait times and improving efficiency. The new exam lanes also offer modern equipment to provide the best possible testing results.
Patients may not be familiar with the term "exam lane," but almost everyone will recognize one when they see it: It's the collection of equipment used to test the eyes. More than 23 individual pieces make up this collection. They include a refractor, instrument stand, a visual acuity system, color tester, occluders, various test lenses, and many more items.
"We are very excited to be remodeling the clinic. The upgrades will bring excellent benefits to our patients. We'll have more space and equipment for eye testing, which is the backbone of an eye care center's practice. Even better, we'll have five new exam lanes in our expanded testing area. New equipment is always preferable, and by adding more of it, we'll be able to reduce wait times and serve more patients," said Dr. Chris Hobson, O. D., founder of Hobson Eye Associates.
One specific benefit of the new exam lanes is increased efficiency. Modern equipment is made so that it can be used in rooms of many sizes, so more compact configurations are common. Not only that, they include stands that keep everything within easy reach of the eye doctor. This speeds up exam times by allowing the optometrist to avoid having to rush around the room looking for the next item to use. With everything right there, patients can enjoy faster, more efficient exams without any loss in quality.
Hobson Eye Associates' clinic will be updated and new after the expansion and upgrades are complete. They look forward to welcoming existing and new patients to the remodeled space and showing them everything that has changed.
