‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 7, Episode 23 Spoilers: "Wehe 'ana” / "Prelude" – Danny Strives to Protect Key Witness Waking Up from Coma

‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7’s episode 23, titled "Wehe 'ana” (Prelude), will follow Danny as he strives to protect a key witness from his last HPD case, who is waking up from a coma. It seems that the witness’ life is in danger and it will be up to Danny to stop an attack on her life.

The synopsis for "Wehe 'ana” (Prelude) posted on TV Guide reads, “Danny (Scott Caan) protects a coma patient showing signs of waking who was the key witness from his last HPD case before he met Steve (Alex O’Loughlin) and joined Five-0.”

The upcoming episode will follow Danny as he works to resolve an old case he was investigating with the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) before he met Steve and joined the team. It seems that the key witness to the case will be emerging from a coma. Danny will do everything in his power to protect the witness as the episode unfolds.

According to Christian Post, the witness’ life will be in grave danger and it will be up to Danny to keep the witness safe from any attack.

A promotional photograph for the upcoming episode posted on Spoiler TV showed Danny struggling from a chokehold by a female nurse dressed in blue scrubs. The nurse apparently tried to end the comatose patient’s life.

Lori Petty is set to star in the episode as Nurse Jenny. The American actress is best known for her roles on the films such as 1991’s ‘Point Break,’ 1992’s ‘A League of Their Own,’ and 1995’s ‘Tank Girl.’ She also appeared on several television series including ‘Prison Break,’ ‘Orange is the New Black,’ and ‘Gotham.’

‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7’s episode 23, titled "Wehe 'ana” (Prelude), is scheduled to air on CBS on April 28, 2017. It was directed by Maja Vrvilo and written by Helen Shang and Zoe Robyn. It will be followed by episode 24, titled "He ke'u na ka 'alae a Hin” (A Croaking By Hina's Mudhen), scheduled to be released on May 5 and directed by Krishna Rao.
