Hankook Tire & Technology Co. has partnered with sports fashion brand, Pro-Specs, to launch three limited edition pairs of running shoes.
The iON evo, Hankook Tire’s high-end electric vehicle tires, inspired the patterns on the shoe’s outsole, which enhance its anti-slip capabilities.
The rubber compounds used in tire production were also utilized to create the outsole, resulting in a more robust grip.
This marks the second collaboration between the South Korean tiremaker and Pro-Specs.
Last year, the companies jointly released a running shoe that features the Kinergy 4S2′s thread pattern, an all-weather tire from Hankook Tire, to maximize the shoe’s functionality.
