Gwen Stefani is currently holding a series of concerts in Las Vegas, and despite the good feedback, there were reports (via Gossip Cop) that say tickets to her concert tour are not selling well. It was asserted that the 48-year-old singer is struggling because she cannot boost the ticket sales.
Now, New York Post reported that Gwen Stefani is fighting back against such a false story. The news site stated that the singer’s Las Vegas tour is actually a big success, so Gwen’s camp needs to correct it.
Moreover, Gossip Cop also disproved the claims and called the report “misinformation” thus they want to correct the inaccurate write-up. The publication stated that Gwen’s series of shows at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino even exceeded expectations, so there is no way that ticket sales are low as claimed.
It was also mentioned that Gwen Stefani told her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, to help her get back her job as a coach on “The Voice” as she needed a new gig for the failed concerts. It went as far as to allege that Shelton threatened the NBC’s show’s producers that he would leave if they will not take his girlfriend back.
In defense, a spokesperson for Zappos Theater released a statement that shot down the false assertions. Via Las Vegas Review-Journal, the rep said, “The reaction to Gwen Stefani’s 'Just A Girl' residency has been nothing short of overwhelming. From the sold-out opening night onward, Gwen, Caesars Entertainment, and Live Nation are all elated.”
The rep added, “The critical acclaim for Gwen’s biggest creative undertaking to date has blown everyone away.”
Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani’s Las Vegas residency concert tour officially started on June 27 and it will run until March 16, 2019. The shows are being held at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
