Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are reportedly having issues with parenting their three children, Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 4. And because of this, the ex-couple have sought the help of their respective lawyers to resolve the matter.
According to People, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are now in mediation because of their different views on how they should raise their three boys. The former husband and wife were divorced in 2016 and when it was finalized, the court granted them a joint legal custody.
However, according to the report, since Blake Shelton’s current girlfriend is a Christian and Gavin is not, the two have clashed with her way of parenting.
A source reportedly told the magazine, “Rossdale loves his kids and they’re the world to him. He’s a great father and wants to spend as much time with them as possible.”
This looks like a small issue but Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale opted to let their lawyers handle the situation so the two of them started mediation in the morning of Sept. 5, Wednesday. It was said that they were in their respective lawyers' offices, which are located in the same building in L.A. Gwen Stefani is being represented by Anne Kiley while Gavin has Laura Wasser as his counsel.
Gwen and Gavin called it quits in 2015 after 13 years of marriage, and shortly after that, the former confirmed she was dating the country singer Blake Shelton, who had also just divorced his wife Miranda Lambert. Gavin did not enter into a relationship until 2017. He is dating model Sophia Thomalla now.
Although the ex-couple are currently dating, it seems that Gwen is in a more rumor-prone relationship as she and Blake Shelton are often reported to be getting married and having a baby. They have also been rumored to have tied the knot already. Blake is also very close to Gwen’s kids now, but the “Hollaback Girl” singer straightly refuted the wedding rumors, as reported by EconoTimes.
