Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton gossip stories are always flying all over the place and one of the most oft-repeated is the one involving nuptials. Since the two started dating back in 2015, tabloid publications have run amok publishing story after story of how the two are finally getting married. This has never come true, of course, and this is still the case with the latest roundup of tabloid chatter.
First on the batting plate to knock this Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton gossip garbage out of the stadium is Gossip Cop. The publication once again stepped up to face down its nemesis in HollywoodLife, which published yet another story that could not be corroborated and that features absurd claims. It also comes with yet another supposed source who simply could not be verified.
With a headline that reads, “Gwen Stefani Wants An Engagement Ring From Blake Shelton As Their 3rd Anniversary Approaches,” the piece cites a supposed source who can confirm the claim. The premise of the story is that, as the third anniversary of the Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton pairing nears, the “Hollaback Girl” singer is getting desperate to get engaged.
“While she is happy with the way things are, she also thinks about getting married all the time. She tries not to obsesses about it, wants to be surprised when he does propose, and prays it is only a matter of time before he asks,” the supposed source reportedly told HollywoodLife.
Not wasting time to debunk this story, Gossip Cop went on an extermination campaign to point out major flaws in this particular Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton story. The self-appointed champion of truth also notes how the representatives of both singers simply pretend that HollywoodLife does not exist. This is a reaction that seems to be getting more common these days, especially among celebrities.
