- Australia - New motor vehicles rose 0.8% in May from a year ago, much lower than prior 2.8% in April. Sales are down -1.3% m/m.
- Germany - German HICP inflation rose 0.1% m/m but 0.7% from a year ago.
Upcoming -
- UK - Inflation stat as measured by CPI, RPI, HPI, PPI would be released at 8:30 GMT. Vital for pound. CB leading economic index to be published at 13:30 GMT.
- Germany - ZEW survey is scheduled for release at 9:00 GMT. Softer reading is expected.
- Euro zone - Zew survey along with employment change to be released at 9:00 GMT.
- US - Housing starts and building permits are scheduled for release at 12:30 GMT, after last month's mega improvement, softer data is expected today.
- New Zealand - Current account balance to be released at 22:45 GMT.
- Japan - japan will release trade balance stat for April at 23:50 GMT.
