“Goblin Slayer” episode 5 is looking to be quite a different installment from the previous episode. Its title, “Adventures and Daily Life,” and a brief preview hint at more laid back events coming up.
The characters are coming off of a fierce fight against the Ogre in episode 4. Now, “Goblin Slayer” episode 5 appears to somehow be an opposite to its predecessor.
The last scenes prior to “Goblin Slayer” episode 5 showed the adventurers dozing off peacefully in a carriage. They are most likely traveling back to the Goblin Slayer’s hometown, which explains Ushikai Musume a.k.a. Cow Girl’s appearance in the “Goblin Slayer” episode 5 preview.
The Cow Girl will welcome back her childhood friend, along with his allies, the Priestess, High Elf, Dwarf Shaman, and Lizard Priest, to her uncle’s farm. Away from more goblins and other creepy creatures, the characters will luckily have enough time to rest and regain strength. And because no battles are happening anytime soon, there are speculations that the “Goblin Slayer” episode 5 will be a time for the protagonists to relax.
Aside from seeing the Goblin Slayer without all his armor and his weapons, viewers might also see him spending some time with his childhood friend in “Goblin Slayer” episode 5. Cow Girl is one of the reasons why the Goblin Slayer is determined to exterminate all the villainous creatures.
Meanwhile, the Goblin Slayer remains to be a mysterious person, especially for the High Elf Archer. After their fight with the Ogre, the High Elf told the Priestess she still does not get the Goblin Slayer’s personality. Will this slightly change in “Goblin Slayer” episode 5?
The Goblin Slayer has been portrayed as an all-business kind of guy in the first episodes of the anime series. He and the High Elf have completely different ideas of what adventures are because the titular protagonist does not seem to be looking for fun. “Goblin Slayer” episode 5 could be a good opportunity for the High Elf and other adventurers to see a different side of the Goblin Slayer and understand him even more. The next installment is expected to be released on Nov. 4.
