Developer Sucker Punch confirmed that the launch of “Ghost of Tsushima: Legends” has been a success. The much-awaited “The Tale of Iyo” Raid has also been confirmed to go live this week and fans now have its exact start time along with some important reminders to increase the chances of success.
‘Ghost of Tsushima: Legends’ update: Iyo realm Raid begins Oct. 30
The addition of the Raid is one of the most anticipated aspects of the “Ghost of Tsushima: Legends” multiplayer. As its title hints, its unique tale will be set in Iyo’s realm and will be composed of three chapters. The new multiplayer content will go live on Friday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m. Pacific Time.
Sucker Punch reiterated some important reminders in its recent “Ghost of Tsushima: Legends” announcement. First, joining the Raid requires a team of four. But matchmaking will not be available because the Raid “requires excellent coordination and communication" making it more favorable for the players to form their own team. Those who do not know anyone playing the action-adventure game can join its Reddit and Discord pages to find potential teammates.
The #GhostOfTsushima: Legends Raid (The Tale of Iyo) will launch this Friday October 30 at 3:00PM Pacific Time.

The Raid requires a minimum Ki level of 100 and a team of four players. It's split into three chapters, with unique cosmetics and top-level gear if you complete it! ????️
The developer has also been straightforward about the difficulty of going through the “Ghost of Tsushima: Legends” Raid, which also explains why players are required to have a gear with a Ki level of at least 100. To help players increase their chances of completing the Raid, Sucker Punch said in an earlier blog post that they recommend players to first complete all the Story missions and then go for a second playthrough of the Story and Survival game modes on higher difficulty settings. Aside from harnessing the players’ familiarity with the game, it is also a good way to increase their gear level for the Raid.
Is Sucker Punch already working on ‘Ghost of Tsushima 2’?
While “Ghost of Tsushima” players are keeping themselves busy for the Raid, some have noticed an interesting job listing from Sucker Punch. They believe it could be one of the first clues for the sequel’s development.
Sucker Punch is currently looking to hire a Narrative Writer, per one of its official job listings. While it could be argued that this could be meant for a different project, it is worth noting that one of the requirements listed is, “Desire to write stories set in feudal Japan.” It is also a “plus” for an applicant to have a “knowledge of feudal Japanese history.” Both have led to speculations that the job listing could be hinting at the early development of “Ghost of Tsushima 2.”
