- Australia: Consumer inflation expectations for May came at 4 percent. The unemployment rate declined to 5.7 percent as 37,400 jobs added in April.

- United Kingdom: retail sales report for April will be published at 8:30 GMT.
- Portugal: Current account balance for March will be reported at 10:00 GMT.
- United States: Weekly jobless claims report will be published at 12:30 GMT, along with Philadelphia Fed manufacturing survey. EIA will release weekly natural gas inventory report at 14:30 GMT. FOMC’s Mester will speak at 17:15 GMT.
- Eurozone: ECB President Draghi’s speech is scheduled today at 17:00 GMT.
- Japan: Flash first quarter report will be released at 23:50 GMT.
- Auction: Germany will auction 30-year bonds today.
