Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 1.18 pct higher at 5,939.40 points.
Taiwan stocks was trading around 0.36 pct higher at 10,016.11 points.
Shanghai composite index to open up 1.1 pct at 2,574.31 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 1.3 pct at 3,140.68 points.
India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.36 percent higher at 10,622.20 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.52 points higher at 35,338.86 points.
South Korea’s kospi was trading 0.80 pct higher at 2,161.34 points.
