"Fuller House" season 5, the series' final stint on Netflix, will premiere this year and will open with a very important question. What will Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) name her new baby?
Sweetin and other cast members revealed on social media on Thursday that they are back to work for the production of "Fuller House" season 5. The on-screen new mom shared a selfie on Instagram taken during their first table read. The same photo also shows the cover page of the episode 1 script confirming that it is titled “Welcome Home, Baby To Be Named Later.”
The “Baby-to-be-Named-Later” quip was actually how Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch) called their newborn daughter in the season 4 finale. It can be recalled that as Stephanie was holding the baby, the couple realized they have not thought about what name to give her. It now appears that the Tanner-Fuller-Gibbler household will continue to work on coming up with a name in "Fuller House" season 5 episode 1.
The title also hints that "Fuller House" season 5 episode 1 will pick up not too long after Kimmy gave birth. So it is highly possible that there will not be that much of a time jump from when they were in the hospital and to where the final season will begin.
Stephanie did point out in the season 4 finale that they do not have much time to think about the baby’s name since she is already here. So there is a chance that the biggest highlight in "Fuller House" season 5 episode is giving their daughter a name.
Meanwhile, other main cast members such as Andrea Barber and Bob Saget also marked their first day at the production of "Fuller House" season 5 with their own social media posts. But, as expected, there is no sign of Lori Loughlin being around.
The actress, known as Aunt Becky from the series, and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are some of the biggest names allegedly involved in the university bribery scandal that broke out this year. They are accused of dishing out as much as $500,000 to make sure their daughters could get in prestigious universities. The couple has since pleaded not guilty on the case.
