The filming of “Fuller House” season 4 wrapped up this month. However, the Netflix series is most likely going to premiere in 2019.
The cast of “Fuller House” season 4 filled their social media pages with photos that confirmed they are done filming the upcoming installment. Candace Cameron Bure, who plays the main protagonist D.J. Tanner-Fuller, said in a post earlier this month, “That’s a wrap!! Season 4 is complete!”
The actress also gushed over how fun it was to work every day with Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber, whom she referred to as her "best friends." Sweetin and Barber will also reprise their roles as Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler, respectively, in “Fuller House” season 4.
Sweetin posted another group selfie of the trio on her own page. Barber, on the other hand, shared a photo where other cast members are included. Both actresses also confirmed the end of the “Fuller House” season 4 filming.
The actresses did not give away any definitive details about the plot and the premiere date of “Fuller House” season 4. However, Bure promised that more updates will likely be available by December through Netflix’s official social media platforms.
If teasers and other forms of official updates will be released in December, it is quite impossible that fans will be seeing the “Fuller House” season 4 premiere this year. This supports earlier speculations that Netflix will assign a 2019 schedule for the sitcom’s return.
Bure might have also hinted that Netflix is yet to order a fifth season. In the same social media update, she encouraged fans to watch “Fuller House” season 4 exclusively on Netflix so they could “get a season 5.”
The most anticipated storyline in “Fuller House” season 4 is Kimmy’s pregnancy. It can be recalled that she agreed to be Stephanie and Jimmy’s (Adam Hagenbuch) surrogate. While it can be expected that she is going to give birth next season, the mystery remains whether the show will introduce more than one baby.
