In an interview with E! News, “Fuller House” star Candace Cameron Bure drops the anvil on the will-they-or-won't-they relationship between D.J. Tanner-Fuller and Steve Hale, played by Scott Weinger.
Bure mentions that she is excited to see how Steve and D.J.'s relationship continues to evolve in a much more steady setting. It seems the show won't be pulling its punches on how D.J. and Steve will be coming back together for good. But Bure she also talks about a Season 4 storyline that could take more center stage when the show airs its premiere episode.
Bure talks about Kimmy Gibbler, played by Andrea Barber, who is currently pregnant as Stephani Tanner's surrogate mother. Bure has confirmed that a lot of season 4 will focus on how the cast of “Fuller House” will comedically be working through the pregnancy. Fans of the show will most likely see the new D.J. and Steve official couple deal with this predicament. Andrea Barber has posted photos of herself testing out the pregnancy props that she will be using for the shows fourth season on her Instagram page.
Amidst Bure's excitement for “Fuller House's” season 4 potential, the cast and crew of the family comedy have another reason to be excited about three seasons of hard work.
The Emmy Awards have recently nominated the family-focused Netflix comedy show for the Best Children's Program Category. This is an achievement for the series as even John Stamos, who plays Jesse Katsopolis, the star of the original “Full House,” and who is now a recurring character in Netflix's “Fuller House” jokingly tweeted on his official Twitter page about the Emmy nomination.
CONGRATS to everyone at @fullerhouse on our EMMY nom. Only took 30 years! #Emmys

Bure has also hinted that John Stamos's Katsopolis may be getting a more regular role in “Fuller House” season 4. While the show has been renewed for a fourth season, Netflix has yet to confirm the actual date the series will broadcast.
