“Fruits Basket 2019” episode 12 is going to be an exciting one, generally, because it focuses on the characters first back to school for a new term. More importantly, Momiji and Hatsuharu join the batch of freshmen entering the same school as Yuki, Kyo, and Tohru.
This should not come as a surprise, though, as it was already announced by Momiji in episode 11. “Fruits Basket 2019” episode 12 will introduce a new character, who is not part of the Sohma clan, but will make the boys’ first day in school interesting. While Tohru, Kyo, and Yuki are greeting Momiji and Hatsuharu at school, the student council president Takei Makoto arrives.
Takei immediately calls out Momiji in “Fruits Basket 2019” episode 12 for wearing a girl’s uniform in school because he looks good in it. Fans will likely see more of Takei in the future episodes and realize that he is really a stickler for school rules.
The student council president will also scold Hatsuharu for wearing much jewelry and for having white hair that he believes is not natural. But it is Hatsuharu’s actual hair, and it is in that color because of his zodiac curse — something that they cannot use as an argument. As Takei berates Momiji in “Fruits Basket 2019” episode 12, the others will come to his defense, especially Hatsuharu.
If the anime will not deviate much from the manga series, Hatsuharu would likely argue that not all people with black hair and wears less jewelry have good intentions. Hatsuharu becomes heated, and Kyo worries that his “black” side will come out that could end really badly for Takei. But as Kyo attempts to calm him, he ends up arguing with Hatsuharu in “Fruits Basket 2019” episode 12.
Anime fans can also expect a sweet little moment between Kyo and Tohru in “Fruits Basket 2019” episode 12. While looking for Momiji and Hatsuharu’s classroom, two other students notice Tohru and make comments that she is pretty but looks gullible. Kyo scares off those students to protect Tohru. “Fruits Basket 2019” episode 12 will be released on Friday, June 21.
