Disney released the first trailer for “Frozen 2,” however, the clip still did not give away the exact plot of the much-awaited animated film. The only thing that those who watched it agree that it will feature a darker theme since this is the vibe that they got.
Plot
But this observation seems to be correct because prior to the filming of “Frozen 2,” Chris Buck, movie’s co-director stated that fans would see very different Elsa. He explained that it was like she has evolved into something else and probably this is due to the situation. Perhaps, she needed the change to solve a mystery that was suggested in the trailer.
“In Frozen she had such a dramatic journey, and at the end, she’s just starting to feel like she can open up and have some fun again,” Buck said told Fandango. "That's what was really good about the short 2015's ‘Frozen Fever’ we could have fun with Elsa. And that personality... you will see in the next one."
In any case, it seems that Anna and Elsa need to find out something. There were suggestions that they must locate their missing parents because they might still be alive or if not, they must solve the mystery of their death.
In a still unpublished teaser that was only shown at the previous Disney+ event, it was said that there was a scene where someone was telling Anna and Elsa, "You must find the truth."
Cast
“Frozen 2” will still have the old cast members that include Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Josh Gad (Olaf) and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff). Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K Brown were said to be joining the team as new characters in the movie sequel.
Release Date
“Frozen 2” will be out in theaters on Nov. 22 in the U.S. and U.K. Premiere date for the rest of the world has yet to be announced.
