The basketball world is buzzing with two exciting releases: Nikola Jokic’s first signature shoe, the 361 Joker 1, and the Scooby-Doo x Puma MB.04 collaboration. Jokic’s shoe, set to launch in December, showcases a sleek design with embossed patterns, while LaMelo Ball’s MB.04 brings the colorful Mystery Machine to life.
Nikola Jokic Debuts His Signature 361 Joker 1 Shoe, Featuring Sleek Design and Performance Tech
Nikola Jokic may have yet to secure the outcome he envisioned during the Nugget's season opener. Still, the night marked a significant personal milestone as he officially debuted his signature shoe, the 361 Joker 1. In Sneaker News reports the sneaker features an all-leather upper with embossed geometric and quilted patterns under the collar and on the tongue. The jester logo appears on the outsole, creeping toward the forefoot and lace unit, which extends into the toe box with an additional eye-stay.
While 361 Degrees has yet to release full details on the shoe’s performance specifications, an early press event in October hinted at critical features. The 361 Joker 1 is expected to include CQT QUIK cushioning and Diamond Grip traction, promising a high-performance silhouette. The shoe is slated for release in December at a retail price of $100, with a more advanced version, the Joker 1 GT, scheduled for March 2024 at $130.
LaMelo Ball and Puma Unveil Scooby-Doo Collaboration Featuring MB.04 and Mystery Machine-Inspired Designs
Meanwhile, LaMelo Ball and Puma partner with Mystery Incorporated for a Scooby-Doo collaboration. The collaboration will feature the MB.04 signature shoe, the Suede XL, and an apparel line. The Scooby-Doo x Puma collection is set to launch on November 27, 2024.
LaMelo Ball’s fourth signature shoe, the Puma MB.04, will retail for $135 and draws inspiration from the iconic Mystery Machine van, with a vibrant color palette of green, blue, and orange. Retro-style flowers embellish the upper, and Scooby-Doo is featured on the heels, depicted dribbling a basketball.
The Puma Suede XL, priced at $95, also embraces the Mystery Machine theme, incorporating floral appliques and a hang tag mimicking the van's license plate. The collection includes footwear and apparel such as hoodies, tees, and shorts.
The entire Scooby-Doo x Puma collection will be available on Puma.com and select retailers starting November 27. Stay tuned for more details and official images as the release date approaches.
