‘FinansAgenda 2016’ to assess digitalization of Denmark’s financial sector

Deloitte is organizing ‘FinansAgenda 2016’ today, September 7, which will focus on the major changes in the financial sector, particularly the digital development and the opportunities and challenges posed to the financial sector in Denmark.

Scheduled to take place at Carlsberg Academy, Copenhagen, the sessions will focus on three crucial areas:

  • Digital customers: Customers' needs evolve in line with technological options and the companies which powers the new customer needs, reaping the biggest rewards.
     
  • Digital disruption: Increased competition promotes innovation and new thinking among financial industry incumbents, but how to exploit and implement digital opportunities?
     
  • Digital compliance: With the digitalization of financial solutions, not only the number of adjustments increases, but also the complexity of these.

Speakers include Morten Petersen, Industry Leader at Google; Rasmus Lynge, CCO at Alm. Brand; Felix Anthonj, CEO of Flexperto; Peter Nordgaard, CFO of Coinify; Zeeshan Rajan, Senior Project Manager in the Danish Bank; Marcelo Soria-Rodrígues, Head of New Data Products at BBVA; Jan Sirich, Head of Experimentation & Learning in Digital Banking at Nordea and many others.

Peter Nordgaard will explain how Coinify addresses the challenges faced by a business built on nascent technology operating within the traditional financial environment. He will be delivering a keynote titled “Financial and legal regulation – that is something we manage ourselves”.
