ARCHBOLD, Ohio, Sept. 15, 2017 -- The Board of Directors of Farmers & Merchants Bancorp, Inc., (Nasdaq:FMAO) the holding company of The Farmers & Merchants State Bank, with assets of approximately $1.1 billion at June 30, 2017, today announced that it has approved a 4.0% increase in the company’s quarterly cash dividend. The new dividend has been raised to $0.26 per share from the previous dividend of $0.25, and represents the second increase in the cash dividend this year. As of September 20, 2017, FMAO stock will be splitting two-for-one, thereby doubling the number of shares each shareholder owns as of that date. The cash value of the dividend will be adjusted to $0.13 per share to reflect this stock split. The third quarter dividend is payable on October 20, 2017 to shareholders of record as of September 26, 2017.
