The fight against the Spriggan 12 continues in “Fairy Tail” episode 299 and anime fans can expect some bizarre (but effective) ways to defeat a couple of Spriggan 12 members. For one, fighting Jacob Lessio will lead to Lucy getting “naked.”
Based on the manga chapter where “Fairy Tail” episode 299 is based, one of the upcoming fiercest enemies is Jacob. He is known for his Stealth and Transport techniques that will prove to be tricky to defeat in the upcoming episodes. The preview briefly shows Lucy seemingly naked and how this will help them emerge victorious from the battle will be explained here.
Luckily for the Fairy Tail Guild, Natsu regains his strength in time to face Jacob. It can be recalled that the main protagonist was previously diagnosed with cancer. After he was healed, he needed to bow out from the ongoing battle against the Alvarez Empire and rest at the infirmary. “Fairy Tail” episode 299 is titled “Natsu Revived” that clearly hints he will be up and ready to face the remaining members of Spriggan 12 in the upcoming battles.
Natsu will lead the battle against Jacob. The latter, because of his Stealth and Transport abilities, can disappear and reappear at will to avoid his opponents’ attacks. Jacob can also “see the unseen” and use weapons that are not visible to his opponents. In the manga, he attacked Lucy with a practically non-existent whip. These techniques will prove difficult to deal with for Natsu and the others in “Fairy Tail” episode 299.
Jacob can also control what his opponents can see. It is possible that “Fairy Tail” episode 299 will feature a scene from the manga where he makes Lucy’s Star Dress disappear in Natsu’s eyes that will eventually distract Loke.
However, Jacob’s attempt to distract the protagonists also leads to his downfall. Lucy notices that Jacob was closing his eyes when forcing Natsu to see her half-naked. This means that if Jacob uses his power to make women naked it also weakens his technique. Natsu and Lucy then make Jacob believe that the latter is completely naked making the Spriggan 12 member extremely vulnerable. “Fairy Tail” episode 299 will air on Sunday, March 10.
