“Fairy Tail 2018” Episode 14 will be rolling out the complicated and possibly world-ending war between the citizens of Ishgar and the forces of Zeref. As Mavis’ put it, Ishgar is at a huge disadvantage given the powers that bearing down on their nation.
Zeref has now called an execution order on the entire peninsula. As such, he’s gathering 12 of his Spriggans in an attempt to not only eliminate Ishgar’s inhabitants but to acquire the Fairy Heart itself. The Fairy Heart is the anime’s version of the Infinity Stone, containing an endless supply of magic that can be used to continuously fire Etherion. “Fairy Tail 2018” Episode 14 will provide more details as to how exactly is Zeref planning this all-out invasion.
The black wizard previously said that he’s going to be using the entire might of the Alvarez Empire to send a message to other nations who might be thinking of opposing his advance. It would be interesting to see how he’ll manage to control such a massive force, especially since some of his Spriggans aren’t exactly made to follow orders to the letter. Of course, Ishgar will not simply let Zeref trample them, and they’ll be making preparations on their own in “Fairy Tail 2018” Episode 14.
Since Ishgar is facing a huge disparity when it comes to firepower, the best way for Mavis and the Guild to proceed is to conduct small shock forces that will harry the opposing army’s advance. Natsu, Lucy, and the rest of the group could split into multiple parties and lead these shock troops. The 12 Spriggans takes main priority here given the immense magic capabilities that each of them holds. Meanwhile, “Fairy Tail 2018” Episode 14 will probably be featuring Acnologia as well.
It's been seen that the Black Dragon is making his move now and it’s still unclear how he’s going to proceed given that he’s always been portrayed as a mysterious character. His presence in this war makes the conflict all the more complicated. Between Zeref, Mavis, the Fairy Heart, and Acnologia, this imminent conflict will undoubtedly reduce a lot of locations to dust. As for when “Fairy Tail 2018” Episode 14 will air, it’s been slated for release on Jan. 12.
