DENVER, Aug. 08, 2017 -- FORTRUST announced today that more than $146k was raised at the Second Annual Champions for Children Charity Golf Tournament. Held on July 17, 2017 at Colorado Golf Club, the charity event benefits KidsTek and the Ronald McDonald House of Denver. Some 128 golfers participated in the tournament.
“We are grateful to FORTRUST and all who sponsored and participated in the Champions for Children event,” says Jonna Busack, Development Manager at Ronald McDonald House of Denver. “The funds will make a difference in the lives of many families with sick children, enabling them to stay close to each other and the medical care and resources they need. "More than 800 underprivileged Colorado kids will benefit from the money raised at this year’s Champions for Children charity event,” said Richard Liner, Executive Director at KidsTek. “The funds will help us expand our technology programs to reach even more of Colorado’s under-served youth. We appreciate FORTRUST and their investment in Colorado’s youth.”
