CBS's latest police procedural drama, “FBI,” has been turning heads, with its premiere episode opening to 10 million viewers. With “Law & Order” creator Dick Wolf behind the show, it looks like the show is set up to be another hit series and “FBI” episode 6 will be upping the ante for the show's first season.
According to the “FBI” episode 6 synopsis, the “FBI” team will be faced with a particularly challenging situation in the upcoming episode. Tasked with organizing rescue efforts for a senator's hostaged daughter, the job will take a turn for the worse when part of the investigation involves digging into the senator's private life.
Ashley Williams will be guest-starring in “FBI” episode 6 as Alexis Moran, the senator's wife. Williams is best known for her guest starring role as Ted Mosby's (Josh Radnor) baking-happy ex, Victoria, in “How I Met Your Mother.” As CarterMatt points out, Williams is “FBI's” biggest-named guest star on the show to date.
Fans can expect Bell (Missy Peregrym) and Zidan (Zeeko Zaki) to pry into secrets that Moran and her husband would prefer to stay hidden. This could lead to complications in the investigation where the FBI team will be forced to choose between respecting the political couple's privacy and actually acting to save their daughter's life in “FBI” episode 6.
The extra hurdle of potentially having to fight the people they are already trying to help will definitely be an interesting conflict for “FBI” episode 6. How exactly the conflict between the senator and the FBI team will resolve the rescue has yet to be revealed.
Fans looking forward to seeing how the FBI team will handle the sensitive hostage situation can catch “FBI” episode 6 when it airs on Oct. 30 during its usual Tuesday broadcast schedule. Hopefully, the senator and his wife do not complicate matters more than they should.
