REHOVOT, Israel, Aug. 23, 2017 -- Evogene Ltd., (NASDAQ:EVGN) (TASE:EVGN), a leading company for the improvement of crop productivity, announced today that the R&D director of its Ag-Chemicals activity area, Dr. Boaz Inbal, will present the company’s biology-driven computational chemistry platform, including proprietary Artificial Intelligence predictive models, and novel product pipeline.
Dr. Inbal will be presenting at the Asian Pacific Weed Science Society Conference taking place September 19th-22nd, 2017 in Kyoto, Japan. Dr. Inbal’s presentation is scheduled for September 20th (Wed) at 14:30.
In his presentation, Dr. Inbal will describe Evogene’s unique approach for biology-driven discovery and optimization of novel pesticides, addressing market challenges of increasing resistance and product safety. Evogene’s computational platform is utilized in the collaboration with BASF, as well as in internal programs and other collaborations.
