‘Emerald City’ season 1’s episode 10, titled “No Place Like Home," will follow Tip and West as they arrive in the city. Their arrival brings in the threat of war. Meanwhile, Dorothy is set to battle the Wizard for the sake of all of Oz.
The synopsis for “No Place Like Home” posted on TV Guide reads, “In the first-season finale, Tip (Jordan Loughran) and West (Ana Ularu) reach Emerald City with vengeance on their minds. Meanwhile, Dorothy (Adria Arjona) faces off against the Wizard (Vincent D’Onofrio) and fights to save Oz; and Glinda (Joely Richardson) brings her power to the battlefield as the threat of the Beast Forever looms.”
The American fantasy television series based on L. Frank Baum’s ‘Oz’ book series has been rife with shocking turns since its debut on January 6. The previous episode, titled "The Villain That's Become," revealed quite a number of interesting twists.
According to the recap posted on Screener TV, Tip’s right to the throne as the Princess Ozma as well as Langwidere’s (Stefanie Martini) true identity as a mere robot created by Dr. Jane (Gina McKee). These surprising revelations affect many of the story’s characters – from West to Jack (Gerran Howell).
The upcoming episode is set to follow Tip and West as they arrive in Emerald City seeking vengeance for what the Wizard has brought upon all of them. A promotional photograph for episode 10 posted on TV Fanatic showed the two standing over a man amidst some rubble as they parade into the city’s gates with their army of witches.
Princess Ozma pursuit to reclaim her birthright may put her life in danger, especially when the Wizard finds out about her. It is yet to be known whether the residents of Emerald City will accept her as their true ruler.
Meanwhile, Dorothy is set to fight it out with the Wizard in order to save Oz as she has gained back her confidence. Episode 9’s final scene showed Dororthy returning to exact revenge and was accompanied by a stone giant.
‘Emerald City’ season 1’s episode 10, titled “No Place Like Home," is scheduled to air on NBC on March 3, 2017 and was directed by Tarsem Singh.
