Arlington, Va., Aug. 21, 2017 -- The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility (Responsibility.org), today recognized eight state attorneys general as the recipients of its 2017 Leadership Awards. Responsibility.org is a national not-for-profit that leads the fight against drunk driving and underage drinking and is funded by America’s leading distillers.

Now in its 13th year, Responsibility.org’s Leadership Awards recognize attorneys general for their strong leadership to prevent impaired driving and underage drinking.

Each year, Responsibility.org partners with attorneys general from across the country to produce public service announcements encouraging kids to say ‘YES’ to a healthy lifestyle and “NO’ to underage drinking. This year, they teamed up with Simone Biles, the most decorated American female gymnast. All of the awarded attorneys general engaged their constituents on social media and encouraged a lifetime of conversations about alcohol responsibility. The PSAs can be viewed here.
